Daniel S. Lynch
President and CEO
Dan Lynch is the President, CEO and a Director of Ivrea
Pharmaceuticals. He also serves on the Board of Directors and
the Audit Committee of U.S. Oncology, Inc.
Previously, Dan served as CFO and then CEO and a Director of
ImClone Systems Inc. Prior to ImClone, he held the position of
Chief Financial Officer of Derby Cycle Corporation. Dan also
served for 15 years in various financial capacities at
Bristol-Myers Squibb Company, including Vice President positions
for the U.S. Pharmaceuticals business, Worldwide Manufacturing
operations, International Pharmaceuticals business, and the
Worldwide Consumer Medicines business.
Dan received his Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from
Wesleyan University and his M.B.A. from the Darden Graduate
School of Business Administration at The University of Virginia.
Christopher N. Hensby
VP of R & D
Christopher Hensby was appointed as Vice President of R &
D at Ivrea Pharmaceuticals INC., in October 2005.
Chris has been in Dermatology since joining Professor Malcom
Greaves at the Institute of Dermatology, London in 1975 to
establish a department of skin Pharmacology. After two years of
research in Clinical Pharmacology at the Royal Postgraduate
School in London he was invited in 1979 to help create the
new Centre International de la Recherches Dermatologiques (CIRD)
as head of the Non Clinical Department. This later became
GALDERMA R & D.
Chris spent 22 years at GALDERMA in a variety of R & D
functions and ultimately was promoted to the position of WW VP
of Regulatory Affairs. During his time at GALDERMA he was
closely involved in the discovery, development and registration
world wide of the Differin brand of topical therapies for acne.
He also worked on a variety of therapeutic agents for treating
acne, psoriasis, eczema, onychomycosis and other fungal
infections that helped GALDERMA to become the company that it is
today.
In October 2001 he was recruited to be the new Vice President
of R & D at Healthpoint in Texas. During his time with this
company several products, notably Salex, Ovace and CeraVe brands
were developed and marketed.
Chris is a BSc. in Pharmacology from Kings College London,
and researched his PhD at the University of Edinburgh.
David Neafus
CFO
David Neafus has served as our CFO since March 2008. Over the previous twelve years, Dave operated his own consulting firm providing executive services, specializing in interim executive management, IPO’s, turnarounds, strategic analysis, and mergers and acquisitions. Previous clients include GlycoFi, where as CFO David helped the Company complete its $400 Million acquisition by Merck, Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Inc. where as Vice President of Finance David led the company to a successful IPO, Infinity Pharmaceuticals where David served as Vice President Finance and Administration and Millennium Pharmaceuticals where he served as Corporate Controller.
Prior to running his own consulting firm, David was an auditor at KPMG. Mr. Neafus received his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Minnesota, and his MBA from Bentley College.
He is also a certified public accountant.
